February Morning Prayer Month of the Holy Family

+In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

St. Patrick’s Breastplate

I arise today through a mighty strength, the invocation of the Trinity, through belief in the Threeness, through confession of the Oneness of the Creator of creation. Christ be with me, Christ before me, Christ behind me, Christ in me, Christ beneath me, Christ above me, Christ on my right, Christ on my left, Christ where I lie, Christ where I sit, Christ where I arise, Christ in the heart of every one who thinks of me, Christ in the mouth of every one who speaks of me, Christ in every eye that sees me, Christ in every ear that hears me.

Adoration

Now to the King Eternal, the immortal, invisible, and only God, be honor and glory forever and ever! Amen.

Prayer on the Holy Family

Blessed are you Lord God, King of the Universe, Our Father, Redeemer, and Sanctifier. You have given us an example of holiness in the family of Nazareth: Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. In the simple, secret, and sacred life of the Holy Family you have sanctified humanity’s lowliness and lifted us up to the heights of glory. You have shown us that if we do the simplest things with the greatest love, you are there working in our midst. Just as you helped the Holy Family with angelic guardians, so too, help us and guide us to the path of life, so that we may reach our eternal happiness in obedience to your holy will. Amen.

Morning Offering

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Chase Heart of Joseph,

I offer you my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world.

I offer them for all the intentions of your Sacred Heart: for the salvation of souls, the reparation for sins, and the reunion of all Christians.

I offer them for myself and all who are dear to me, in thanksgiving for your favors, in supplication for our well-being, for the needs of the Church, for the souls in purgatory, and for any intentions that most need your mercy today, especially the intentions of the Holy Father. Amen.

Pater Noster

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.

Apostles’ Creed

I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth,

and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; he descended into hell; on the third day

he rose again from the dead;
he ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty;
from there he will come to judge

the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and life everlasting. Amen.

Three Hail Marys Devotion

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Mary, by your holy and Immaculate Conception, purify my body, sanctify my soul, and preserve me this day from mortal sin.

2. In honor of God the Son for the wisdom he granted to Mary.

Daily Entrustment to the Holy Family

O Sacred Heart of Jesus, Immaculate Heart of Mary, and Chaste Heart of Joseph, you shared the joys and sorrows of this life in the humble life and love of a family. I entrust myself to you today that you may transform my heart.
